At Sevilla, we attribute our success to our amazing staff that share in our vision. We are very proud of the fact that our management team consists mainly of individuals who have risen through the ranks at Sevilla- from security to general manager, from host to operations manager, from bartender to executive! Who Are We?
Entrepreneurial Managers, Allyson McKaeg
I started as a server at Café Sevilla Long Beach at the age of 20. Cafe Sevilla walked me through the steps of service and food industry. I had been working for Cafe Sevilla Long Beach for 3 years when the owners offered me a life-changing opportunity to manage the San Diego location. Through many challenges and hard work, I made it to GM in two years. I can proudly say that Cafe Sevilla is my home. I work with a strong team. I manage servers, bartenders, hosts, expos, bussers, and more. I am so proud to be apart of the Cafe Sevilla Team and success! I have never worked in such a fun and strategic restaurant such as this! The owners noticed me out of a sea of great workers, built me up, trained me, and continue to teach me day by day how to be a successful manager in this Industry. The Brand Sevilla is so well known, so I strive to keep the authenticity alive!
Culinary Masters, Miguel Delgado
I started out working as a line cook for Cafe Sevilla in 2009. Within a few years, I had climbed from line cook to sous chef to head chef and then finally, to corporate head chef. All the while, I have felt supported and recognized for my dedication and skillset. I have been given the opportunities to grow my classic Spanish skills while still being given the creative liberties to try new things. Every day I work directly with the executive team to continually improve our menu items and the overall dining experience for our guests. I am proud to have landed at Cafe Sevilla and see myself continuing to support our mission to provide an amazing experience to our guests every day.
